Maintenance
Be sure to use the InFocus lamp module designed for this projector. You can order new
lamps from www.infocus.com (in select areas), your retailer or your dealer. Only genuine
InFocus lamps are tested for use in this projector. Use of non InFocus lamps may cause
electrical shock and re, and may void the projector warranty. InFocus is not liable for the
performance, safety or certication of any other lamps.
WARNING: Hg – Lamp contains mercury. Manage in accordance with local
disposal laws. See www.lamprecycle.org.
Replacing the lamp
Part number : SP-LAMP-064

Turn the projector off, and unplug the power cord.
Allow the projector to cool for at least 45 minutes.

Loosen the screw (marked by arrow) of the lamp
cover and then slide and lift the lamp cover to the
side to remove it.

Loosen the 3 screws (marked by arrow) of the lamp,
and slowly pick up the lamp by the handles. Never
loosen any other screws.

Insert the new lamp, and retighten rmly the 3
screws of the lamp that are loosened in the previous
process to lock it in place.
6.
Slide the lamp cover back in place. Then rmly fasten
the screw of the lamp cover.
Turn the projector on and reset the lamp hours using
RESET LAMP HOURS in the SERVICE menu.
Replacing the lamp
(4) Highlight SERVICE in the menu using the ▼/▲
button, then press the ► button.
(5) Highlight the RESET LAMP HOURS using the ▼/▲
button, then press the ► button. A dialog will appear.
(6) Press the ► button to select “OK” on the dialog. It
performs resetting the lamp hours.

►Do not touch anywhere inside of the area where the lamp was
removed from the projector.
CAUTION
(1) Press the MENU button to display a menu.
(2)
Highlight the ADVANCED MENU in the menu using
the ▼/▲ button, then press the ► button.
(3)
Highlight OPTION in the left column of the menu
using the ▼/▲button, then press the ► button.
